Get ready for a challenge! Add Zill’s too your dance and experience greater depth of artistry by diving into basic music theory and cultivating a deeper understanding of Arabic rhythms. 

In this class we will practice foundational Zill patterns, learn basic music theory, and understand why theses patterns work with rhythms like Baladi and Saiidi. We will work towards combining this with Datura-style movement vocabulary by beginning with simple steps and slowly progressing to short dance combinations. Zill’s require a lot of consistent practice so if you're thinking of taking this class be ready to put time aside for at home practice and see your Zill skills shine!

Students will need their own set of zill’s. I recommend ordering them here.

*This class is for experienced dancers only. Dancers must attend the Datura style class as a prerequisite.
